A 3-hour evening with your own chauffeur, from $255.00, at the same price for pickups in any of our Houston service areas. Our evenings are fixed-price blocks of 3, 4 or 5 hours, with the car and chauffeur yours for the whole block. Extra time is billed by the hour.

Which car for a night out for two?

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the formal choice for two. The Executive Sedan is the simplest: a Cadillac or Lincoln sedan, or equivalent. A Cadillac Escalade sits higher and suits a double date. A stretch limousine comes from our partners and is quoted on request.

How does a date night with a chauffeur work?

The evening follows your reservations within the selected hourly block, and the chauffeur stays with your booking between stops.

  • Pickup at home, at the time you choose.
  • Dinner: drop-off at the door, and the car stays with your booking while you eat.
  • A second stop: a show, a drink, a walk, or the view.
  • Home, with no one driving and no parking to find.

Date night ideas in Houston

Ten evenings that work well with a car waiting outside. Each one comes from the venue’s own site or a named publication, and none of these places is a partner of ours. The packages below put several of them together.

  • Dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant: Houston has several, listed below with their accolades.
  • A touring Broadway show at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, home of Broadway at the Hobby Center and Theatre Under the Stars.
  • The Houston Symphony at Jones Hall in the Theater District.
  • A nightcap at Z on 23, atop Le Méridien Houston Downtown, which calls itself Houston’s highest open-air rooftop bar.
  • Skyline views from Skylawn, the five-acre rooftop park and farm at POST Houston, 401 Franklin St.
  • The Waugh Bridge bats in Buffalo Bayou Park: roughly 250,000 Mexican free-tailed bats emerge around sunset, though they may remain inside during cold or rainy weather.
  • Live music and dinner at Doc’s Jazz Club in the historic Tower Theatre, which describes itself as a supper club.
  • A gallery and dinner evening at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, home to Le Jardinier.

  • A longer evening at Kemah Boardwalk, where Boardwalk FantaSea runs dinner cruises.

What should I tell you when I book?

The more we know, the smoother the night runs.

  • The restaurant and any other stops, with the reservation times.
  • The pickup address and the time you want to be home.
  • Whether it is a surprise, a proposal or an anniversary, and who knows about it.
  • Whether you would like roses: a single rose is $25.00, and they need 48 hours’ notice.

Planning a proposal?

Tell us when you book and we plan around it. Give us the planned times, the stops and the contacts for anyone taking part. If a photographer or friends are waiting at the spot, give us their arrival time so the schedule can match it.

If you choose McGovern Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park, the Hermann Park Conservancy books proposals there directly: its published fee is $400, for up to 20 guests including the photographer. Arrange that with the Conservancy, and we handle the ride.

Where to go for a date night in Houston

A few areas that work well for an evening with a chauffeur, with facts from each area’s official source.

  • River Oaks District: at 4444 Westheimer Rd, describing itself as a destination for fashion, dining, art and culture.
  • Montrose: art, culture, food and nightlife just west of downtown, according to Visit Houston.
  • The Theater District: 17 blocks of downtown with nine professional performing arts organizations. The Wortham Center has two theaters, the Brown and the Cullen, and the Hobby Center has Sarofim Hall and Zilkha Hall.

Questions

How much is a limo for date night in Houston?

A 3-hour evening with a chauffeur starts at $255.00, and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is $375.00 for 3 hours. Prices are the same in all eight of our service areas, including Saturday evenings, and extra time is billed by the hour. A stretch limousine comes from our partners and is quoted on request.

Can the chauffeur wait while we eat?

Yes. The car and chauffeur are yours for the whole block. Book a 3, 4 or 5 hour block around your reservations, and the chauffeur stays with your booking for that time. Extra time beyond the block is billed by the hour.

How long should I book for a date night?

Choose 3, 4 or 5 hours from your own times: count the drive to dinner, the meal, any second stop or show, and the drive home. A longer trip such as Galveston or Kemah needs more of the block for driving. All three blocks have fixed prices, longer evenings are quoted, and extra time is billed by the hour.

Can you help with a proposal?

Yes, with the transportation. Tell us the plan when you book: where, when, who is in on it and who is waiting at the spot. Messages about the plan go only to you, and we time the pickup so you arrive when everything is ready. Roses can be waiting in the car, from $25.00, if you order them 48 hours ahead.

Do your packages include champagne, flowers or decorations?

No champagne and no decorations. A package is the car and the chauffeur for a fixed block of time. Roses are the one extra: a single rose, one dozen or two dozen, from $25.00. With a minor aboard, nobody drinks; with adults only, drinks are for those 21 and older under the operator’s rules.

Can we book a stretch limousine for an anniversary?

Yes, on request. Stretch limousines come from our partners, so we quote them by text. For two people, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is often the better fit, and it has fixed 3, 4 and 5 hour prices on our rate card.

Can we go to Galveston or Kemah for the evening?

Yes. Galveston is about an hour from Downtown in light traffic, so those evenings fit the 5-hour block, as in our Galveston Sunset package. Kemah Boardwalk works the same way. Tell us the stops and the time you want to be home, and we confirm the plan before you book.
