Sports and concert transportation in Houston

For a Houston game or concert, the hard part is the end of the night: thousands of people leaving at once and one pickup zone. Check the venue’s instructions for your event date; the table below summarizes each major venue’s published rideshare and drop-off arrangements, and we agree the pickup point with you by text before the event.

Where are the drop-off and pickup zones at Houston venues?

These are the rideshare and drop-off arrangements each venue or team publishes. Private cars are sometimes directed elsewhere on event days, so we confirm the exact meeting point for your date by text.

When should we leave for the game or the show?

Work backward from the moment you want to be in your seat, not from the start time on the ticket. Allow for the drive, then for the walk from the drop-off zone to your gate and the security line.

For the ride home, choose whether to wait after the event or leave before it ends, and include that choice in the plan you send us.

  • Weekday evening events meet the end of the workday on the freeways. Leave more room than on a weekend.
  • The Pavilion is in The Woodlands, so plan it as a longer drive than a downtown venue.

What vehicle fits our group?

Choose for the ride home, when everyone is tired and the group wants to leave together.

Graduations at NRG

NRG is also a graduation venue. Humble ISD moved its 2026 ceremonies to the Humble Civic Center, Daikin Park and Fertitta Center, and NRG Arena hosts university commencements. Districts move ceremonies from year to year, so check the district’s graduation page for the venue before booking.

How does booking work for an event night?

Send the venue, the date, the event start time, the head count and the pickup address. We quote by text and confirm every request within 15 minutes, 24/7. Choose a car that waits by the hour, or a drop-off and a separate pickup at a set time. A receipt is emailed after the ride.

Questions

Where is the pickup and drop-off at NRG Stadium?

For Texans games, the official rideshare zone is the Yellow Lot, entered from Fannin St for pickup. After the game, pickups are staged in the Yellow Lot whichever gate you leave from. One common mix-up: 8181 Fannin St is the light rail stop, not the stadium. We confirm the exact meeting point by text.

Is Daikin Park the Astros’ old ballpark under a new name?

Yes. Daikin Park was renamed from Minute Maid Park for the 2025 season, and it is the same downtown ballpark. Rideshare pickup and drop-off is on Crawford St, just outside the center field gate, near the left field and center field entrances. Use the new name when you book so everyone looks for the right signs.

Where do cars drop off at Toyota Center?

Lyft is the official rideshare partner at Toyota Center, and its pickup and drop-off is west of the arena toward Austin St, across from Root Memorial Square Park. Uber also has a designated zone near the arena. We agree a meeting point near those zones with you before the game or concert.

Is there parking at Shell Energy Stadium?

There is no stadium-owned parking. Event parking uses Lots B and C on the north side of the stadium, and prices vary by date. A chauffeured car avoids the lot entirely: we drop you as close as event traffic allows and confirm the pickup point for the end of the match by text.

Are there taxis outside NRG Stadium after a game?

Rideshare and taxi pickups at NRG are concentrated in the Yellow Lot, and after a big game that zone is busy. A booked car means a meeting point agreed in advance, instead of requesting a ride at the same moment as everyone else.

Can the car wait during the game or concert?

Yes, with an hourly booking. Or book a drop-off and a separate pickup at a set time, which suits long events. Either way, the pickup point and time are agreed by text before the night so you know exactly where to walk when it ends.

How do we get to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion?

The Pavilion is in The Woodlands and has both free and paid parking, plus dedicated accessible drop-off and pickup lanes. The Pavilion publishes accessible drop-off and pickup lanes; otherwise, follow its event-specific directions, and we agree the pickup point with you in advance. Plan it as a longer drive than a downtown venue.
