Prom and homecoming

Prom and homecoming limo in Houston

A Houston prom or homecoming ride is usually booked by a parent for a group of students: pickup for photos, the dance, and home by the school or parent return time. Our fixed hourly prices start at $255.00 for a 3-hour block, the same for pickups in any of our Houston service areas. Stretch limousines and party buses are quoted on request. Every trip is alcohol free.

How much does a prom limo cost in Houston?

Four things drive the price: the vehicle size, the number of hours, the date and where the group starts. Houston proms cluster on a few spring weekends, so those Saturdays are in demand across the market.

The fixed prices on our rate card apply to cars booked by the hour for 3, 4 or 5 hours, the same for pickups in Downtown, Galleria, the Texas Medical Center, IAH, Hobby, The Woodlands, Katy and Sugar Land; other pickup areas are quoted by text. Split across a full vehicle, a Sprinter for thirteen comes to about $28.85 per student for those three hours. Nights over 5 hours, stretch limousines, SUV limos and party buses are quoted by text.

What do other Houston prom limos cost?

As of Oct 2026, market range, not our quote: Houston prom guides put stretch limousines for 6 to 10 people at about $100 to $250 an hour, SUV limos for 10 to 20 people at about $150 to $300 an hour, and party buses for 20 to 40 people at about $200 to $400 an hour or more. In a Houston-area parents’ group, families reported paying about $75 to $140 per person.

Compare total cost for the night, not the hourly rate alone. Ask what the minimum hours are and what is included.

A prom safety checklist for parents

Prom groups are teenagers, so the booking runs on a few fixed rules and a short list for the parent who signs.

  • An adult, 18 or older, holds the booking and stays reachable by phone all night.
  • Zero alcohol on board, for everyone, for the whole trip.
  • Set the pickup and the return time with the other parents, based on the school or parent return time.
  • Share the full list of riders and every address with us in writing.
  • Check the school’s own rules about how students may arrive. Some schools set them.
  • Name a second parent as backup contact for the night.

Who should organize the prom ride?

One adult should hold the booking for the whole group, collect the money from the other families, and be the person we text on the night. Students can choose the vehicle and the photo stop, but the adult organizer confirms the times, the riders and the drop-off.

Groups often split by budget, with some couples in a smaller car and others in a larger vehicle. That works well: send us both groups in one request and we quote them together.

When should we book a prom or homecoming ride?

Prom and homecoming dates vary by school and district, so check your district’s official calendar. The Harris County Department of Education collects the calendars of Harris County school districts in one place.

Request the vehicle as soon as the date is announced. Proms cluster on a few spring weekends, so an early request gives you the widest choice of vehicles.

Homecoming rides

Homecoming works the same way as prom, usually with a shorter night: a pickup for photos, the dance, and home by the agreed return time. The same rules apply: an adult holds the booking and the trip is alcohol free. An Escalade seats six and a Sprinter seats thirteen.

Questions

How much does a limo cost for prom?

It depends on the vehicle, the hours, the date and the pickup area. Our fixed prices for a 3-hour block from our Houston service areas are $375.00 for a Cadillac Escalade and $375.00 for a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Stretch limousines and party buses are quoted on request. As of Oct 2026, Houston families report about $75 to $140 per person across the market.

Why do limo prices go up around prom season?

Houston proms cluster on a few spring weekends, so many groups want vehicles on the same nights. When demand concentrates like that, prices across the market tend to follow. The fix is to book early and to compare the total for the night, including minimum hours, rather than the hourly rate alone.

Is alcohol allowed on a prom limo?

No. Any trip with minors on board is alcohol free for everyone, including adults riding along. An adult, 18 or older, holds the booking and stays reachable by phone all night. We state this with the quote so every family in the group knows the rule before the night.

Who signs for a prom limo?

An adult, 18 or older, signs and holds the booking for the group. Usually that is one parent who collects from the other families and acts as our contact on the night. Students choose the vehicle and photo stop with that parent, and the organizer confirms the riders, times and return time with us.

What time does the prom limo bring students home?

At the time the school or the parents set. Agree on one return time with every family in the group before booking, and put it in the request. The chauffeur follows the plan the adult organizer confirms with us, and any change on the night goes through that organizer.

Can our prom group split into two vehicles?

Yes. Groups may split by budget or by friend group, with some couples in an SUV and others in a Sprinter or party bus. Send both groups in one request, with the riders for each vehicle, for a quote. The same rules apply to both vehicles: an adult holds each booking, and both rides are alcohol free.

Can we use a party bus for prom?

Yes, on request. Party buses come from our partners, so party buses are quoted on request. The same rules apply as for any prom ride: an adult holds the booking and the trip is alcohol free. Check that your school allows party bus arrivals before you book.

Do you do homecoming too?

Yes. Homecoming runs the same way as prom, often with a shorter night: photos, the dance and home at the agreed time. An Escalade seats six and a Sprinter seats thirteen, both with fixed 3-hour prices, and the same adult organizer and alcohol-free rules apply.
