Landing at Hobby

Meet your driver in Baggage Claim on the Baggage Claim / Arrivals level. Follow the signs to "Ground Transportation". Your chauffeur waits there with a name sign, so you do not have to find the car at the curb with your bags.

Hobby's own rule for prearranged cars: All limousine drivers picking up passengers at the airport must be badged. Drivers are prohibited from soliciting fares. Do not accept a ride without a prearranged reservation.

Flying into Hobby on sailing day

  • The day before is safer. Landing the night before takes a delayed flight out of the equation, and many cruisers plan it that way.
  • Work back from your check-in slot. Cruise lines assign an arrival or check-in time, and the Port of Galveston asks guests to leave room for security screening. Tell us that time and we set the pickup from it.
