Why take a chauffeured lights tour?
Families, friend groups and retirement communities all run into the same problems on a lights night: cold or wet weather, children who need a bathroom break, traffic in the most popular streets, and too many displays for one evening. A heated vehicle with a planned route answers all four.
River Oaks in particular has real congestion in peak season. The streets are narrow and residential, so being driven means nobody in the family has to watch the road or look for parking.

Candy Cane Lane is in Conroe, and it has moved for 2026
Candy Cane Lane is a Conroe tradition, not a Houston street. For years it was the Candy Cane Holiday Trail in Candy Cane Park, a free drive-thru loop with more than a million lights, open Friday to Sunday evenings in December.
For 2026, the City of Conroe is moving the display to Founders Plaza in downtown Conroe and turning it into a walk-through. It is live December 1 to 26, 2026, running the four December weekends before Christmas, timed with Christmas Around the Square (6:45 to 9:30 p.m., after the tree lighting in Heritage Park). Confirm the operating nights and hours with the City of Conroe before you book. That changes the plan: we drop you downtown, you explore on foot, and the pickup point is agreed in advance.
Three sample routes that fit a 3, 4 or 5 hour block
Each route starts and ends at your door if you live in one of our Houston service areas: Downtown, Galleria, the Texas Medical Center, IAH, Hobby, The Woodlands, Katy or Sugar Land. Outside those areas, we quote the trip by text. Prices are the fixed hourly fares from the current rate card; the Executive Sedan price is the higher of the two sedans we may send.
- Conroe instead: swap the Galveston evening for the Candy Cane Holiday Trail at Founders Plaza on a December weekend, and ask us to quote the block from your address.
- Dickens on The Strand fills a whole weekend in Galveston, so pair it with Moody Gardens as a full day, quoted by text.
- Radiant Nature runs mainly Friday to Sunday, so book the lanterns route for a weekend evening or a listed Thursday.
